Chef Krystal, a New
Hampshire native, began her quest to culinary mastery at Alvirne High School in
Hudson, NH. Resolved in her destiny, she followed her love of cooking to
Southern New Hampshire University where she completed her associate’s degrees
in baking and pastry arts, studying under storied Master Pastry Chef Steven
James. Krystal’s career took flight at the Nashua Country Club in New
Hampshire, while there her knowledge, creativity, and passion for the culinary
arts blossomed. After departing Nashua for more urban pastures, her sojourn to
the peak of pies brought her to several Boston area eateries, the most integral
in her development being the Blue Ginger under famed Ming Tsai. Yet again,
Krystal’s journey changed course, and after becoming a mother she moved to the
vibrant Upper Valley to continue her ascent to the baking hall of fame as Sous
Chef here at the Home Hill Inn & Restaurant, where she is renowned not only
for her decadent baking talents, but also for her charming warmth of
personality.
